Pacific Seacraft 37 Features and EquipmentCONSTRUCTION (To ABS Approved Plan Certification) Hand laminated biaxial fiberlass hull and deck. First hull laminate uses vinylester resin for superior blister resistance. Standard molded in gel coat color is Antique White with Midnight blue boot & sheer stripes. Stainless steel chainplates and backing plates are caulked and thru-bolted to the hull. Solid teak rubstrake on hull. Bottom paint-includes solvent wash, three layers of epoxy barrier coat and two coats of anti-fouling bottom paint. Rudder supported by high strength manganese bronze gudgeon. Ballast-6,200 pound (2.82 mt) solid lead casting with s.s. keel bolts. Keel to hull joint bedded in epoxy. Interior-Structural fiberglass, plywood & gel coat interior module bonded into hull with fiberglass mat and woven roving. Primary bulkheads bonded into hull & deck w/fiberglass then bolted in place. Underside of deck, lockers and entire bilge are gel coated to prevent mildew and to facilitate cleaning. Deck to hull connection-mating hull & deck flanges bedded in polyurethane adhesive and fastened with stainless steel thru-bolts. Deck balsa cored plywood core in hardware mount areas. Deck has molded-in non-skid pattern. DECK EQUIPMENT All cleats, winches, turning blocks, pulpits & stanchions have backing plates. Backing plates & hardware caulked with polyurethane. 30' high, stainless steel double rail bow and stern pulpits with running lights and 30' high, double lifeline stanchions. Stainless steel stem fifting with two anchor rollers and locking pins. Divided bow chain locker for two anchor rodes. One deck pipe to port. Clear covered engine control panel in cockpit with tachometer, engine hour meter & engine condition indicators. Removable 40 gallon (151 Itr.) alum. fuel tank w/gauge & cleaning port. Mechanical fuel pump, electric back up fuel pump. RACOR fuel filter with water separator. Seawater strainer bulkhead mounted and water lift muffler system. Two blade solid bronze propeller. ELECTRICAL AC/DC master power control panel with AC ammeter, AC voltmeter, polarity test circuit, eight AC circuit breakers, DC ammeter, battery condition monitor and sixteen DC circuit breakers. Panel is hinged for easy access and located at navigation station. Tinned copper wiring throughout. 110 Volt shore power system. Three deep cycle marine batteries (105 amps each) below decks. Four position battery switch. Eight dome lights. Six reading lights. One florescent light in galley. One adjustable chart light at navigation station. Seven 1 1 0 Volt AC duplex receptacles with GFI protection. RG-213U coaxial antenna cable led from masthead to nav-table. COCKPIT B'-10' long seats with contoured seat backs and seat drains. Coamings have two built-in winch handle boxes. Three cockpit seat lockers for storage. Stern lazarefte hatch and vented propane locker for two tanks. One 5 gallon/20 pound propane tank (empty) with s.s. mount bracket. Two safety harness pad eyes. Whitlock single lever pedestal wheel steering with brake & offset stainless steel pedestal guard, engine throttle controls & emergency tiller. Removable cockpit sole w/neoprene gasket seal, finger pulls, and four bronze retainers for access to engine, steering and packing gland. Two 1-1/2" drains in cockpit sole to seacocks for fast self-bailing. SPARS AND RIGGING Aluminum spars with two part linear polyurethane paint. Six sheave masthead, external halyards, airfoil spreaders. Combination bow/foredeck light on mast. Anchor light on masthead. Internal conduit with VHF coax cable and wires.
